The Polar Express was great, but it also made me think about how I'm getting old. I'm not talking about the storyline... I mean the fact that it was in 3D made me feel a little sick. I eventually got used to it, but for awhile just felt kinda gross.

After the movie, I went to the Chattanooga Choo Choo Historical Hotel and Museum to look at their model railroad. For the record, it's not quite worth the $4.00 they charge. The set looked much worse than the one in the science center back home. Also, it was a little odd to walk through because no one was there. I mean NO ONE. There wasn't even anyone there to take my ticket. Someone finally showed up as I was exiting, but I was mad that I hadn't just tried to sneak in first.

Once I left, I took this picture of one of the trains in the courtyard:

Kinda cool because there were trains everywhere.  The whole thing used to be a working railroad station, but now is overall, a museum.  There are all kinds of little shops set up along the two sides of the courtyard, but like Lynchburg yesterday, many were not open.  I didn't mind so much.   Maybe I'll always try to plan a vacation the week before Christmas because apparently, no one does.

I got back to The Shed kind of early and have pretty much just been hanging out.  I did some cleaning (there is that $450 deposit to worry about), packed some things into the car (going to have to be gone by 10AM), tried to make a detailed map of the construction of this place (seriously... want to build one of these back home), and have just now made some chicken and black bean burritos for dinner (which are delicious).

Also, spent some time today dealing with the all important flairizing of the car...

I now have stickers from Rock City, Ruby Falls, and Lynchburg.  YES!

On a side note... lesson learned about how much food to buy.  I figured I would save some money by purchasing things at a grocery store.  My overall amount of money spent for this was about $60 which included things like paper towels, toilet paper, dish washing liquid, soap, baggies, and trash bags.  I am going to take most of that stuff home with me which is kind of annoying.  I also have some food to bring back, and I guess I'll just plan on NOT buying certain things while on vacation.

PS: I would just like to note that while writing this, Sui has been ridiculously sick.  This is most likely due to the fact that I ALREADY CLEANED.
